              Magny - Cours (F) July 3rd 2003

Only one week after Nürburgring race, Formula 3000 circus is
again on track, this time for the French GP, which will take place
in Magny Cours, sixth round of the F.I.A. Formula 3000 International
              Championship.
            In
2002 Coloni Motorsport had taken here a precious podium with Giorgio
Pantano and the 2003 race too seems very promising for the Italian
              team.
            Ricardo
came at Magny-Cours with a strong desire of redeeming himself after
the unlucky Nürburgring race, when the chances of victory of
the Brazilian star had vanished because of an accident in the beginning.
BMW-WilliamsF1 tester can for sure look now to an important result:
besides the second qualifying time at only a few hundredths off
the pole position, Ricardo had scored also the second fastest lap
in race, showing one more time his talent and the single-seaters
              qualities.
             After
the good try in the European GP, Zsolt Baumgartner
will aim straight at a great result and, thanks to the cars
competitiveness too, the Hungarian driver of
Coloni Motorsport will be able to aspire to the
              first podium in Formula 3000.
